Glockenspiel

Can be provided with case or stand. Traditionally the glock is made with carbon steel bars but aluminium alloy could be used as a lighter alternative.

The normal range used to be regarded as two  octaves and a fourth G to C, but nowadays makers routinely offer a range of three octaves or more.

Resonators and a damping bar can also be incorporated.
